Buttercups In The Grass

An attempt at something new …trying to dig myself out of a bit of a pit…(photographically speaking).

I wanted to isolate the wild flower in a sea of green! I knelt down at the lowest rail of the fence alongside a meadow, using a wide aperture and focussed on the flower (manual focus, as the autofocus, bless it, was all over the place with the grass moving between the the lens and flower). The wide aperture was intended to throw the background and foreground out of focus…coupled with with the grasses blowing about in the breeze, it has created a nice blur! Added another experiment as an extra

Not much else achieved today….
