Chestnut flowers and some of the trees near Oxenfoord Castle including a view down the Sequoia Avenue which was planted with the redwoods in 1863 on either side of the Broadwalk to commemorate the marriage of the future King Edward VII.   One of the sequoias had been felled showing the deep red of the wood.  Around the estate there are many trees including several copper beeches contrasting with the greens of the beeches and sycamores.
