Peekaboo!

We are currently overrun with chipmunks as all the youngsters are out of the burrows now.  It is almost impossible to step outside without one scurrying past, which is enough to test a certain brindle dog's prey drive to the max.  Said dog was safely contained on the deck, watching me photograph the chipmunks, birds, and one big fat bee (Extra).  This chipmunk looks like a youngster to me - just a certain roundness and fluffiness.

Our first Advanced puppy class was last night and Jax did pretty well.  There was only one other dog in class, a slightly younger male who is even more boisterous than Jax (if such a thing is possible).  The two of them only really wanted to play with each other which complicated things a bit.  And the other dog's owner was constantly yelling at her dog which was just disrupting.  Of course, the more she yelled, the more her pup acted unruly.  Not my place to say anything, but the instructor did try to gently tel the woman that yelling might be a little over the top.  

Today has been kind of s slow day for me, mostly because I only got about 4 hours sleep.  Just one of those nights.  

Talked to Sefferdog on the phone this afternoon to lock down a few details for my upcoming trip to FL.  Only 3 more sleeps!  I am so excited to see everyone.
