Transplanting Nikau

The cameras and computer which make backing my car easier,  respond to the leaves of plants by the short driveway I back down. I dare not ignore the warnings completely as there are some very solid tree trunks very close to the edge of the drive.

Today, I cut back some of the overgrowth, and took the opportunity using my 'gardening knife' given me by our son. I think it's Japanese made; if not it was designed there. Using a fork was fine for the bigger plants seen in the pot; the knife resulted in safe extraction of the really small ones.

Now we just have to keep them alive and then plant them out the back somewhere.
