We returned to Enna for some family research at the Comune di Demografici and revisited the enormous cemetery. This is a view that we could not see a few days ago in the storm and thick fog. The place is huge and filled with family mausoleums, some modest many grand…all tributes to departed family members and a statement of their important values. Some extravagant with sculptures and mosaics, glass encased rooms with alters, plants and photos. Amazing.
