Flowering Rhododendron

A warm sunny day

A morning preparing some work prior to going away for a few days in the Durham area next week. Much quiet day after all the road resurfacing earlier in the week. It looks good although there is still some patching up work to be done.

Sitting in the garden in the sunshine waiting for the FA Cup Final to start. My dwarf Rhoddy has begun to blossom, almost overnight. It is a deep red to begin with and then goes a light pink later.
