Sunny Saturday

Today the sky was clear blue and it was warm enough to sit out and read.  At least I sat and read: Mr MC busied himself with some weeding. Peggy Sue was happy to join me doing nothing much, although she prefers the shade on such warm days.
Late this afternoon, the FA cup final was played between Liverpool and Chelsea.  It took 30 minutes of extra time and penalty shots to find a winner, which was Liverpool.  The match only just finished in time to make way for the spectacle that is the Eurovision Song Contest to begin.  It came as no surprise really that Ukraine won, but at least the UK redeemed itself after last year's 'nul points' when the delightful Sam Ryder came second.
