The Tigger

Tigger! Tigger burning Bright
In the 100 Acre Wood of the night,
What immortal hand or eye
Could frame thy fearful bounciness?

In what distant deeps or skies
Burnt the fire of thine eyes?
On what wings dare he bounce?
What the hand, dare seize the Pooh?

And what shoulder, & what art,
Could twist round Eeyore, and Piglet too?
And when thy heart began to beat,
Where’s your hands? & where’s your feet?

With sincere apologies to William Blake for mangling his beautiful poem.
