Common Carder Bee

The day started nicely with a bit of sun and a wander around the garden. A few bees around the bee hotel and on the newly opened hardy geraniums. 
We had a really quite day and our annual review with the financial adviser. 
Hubby out at games tonight and I will be packing for our short break in Yorkshire - just a couple of nights so we can spend some time at Bempton Cliffs. Looking forward to some good birding and some good food. Whilst we are away I imagine that my commenting will be very sparse, but I will catch up at the weekend.
