Duck On The Roof

This mallard drake has taken to sitting on the ridge of the roof of our bungalow recently. Yesterday I photographed him and the duck outside the window. I'm wondering whether they have a nest somewhere in the garden. In the past I've seen mallards march their ducklings from here down to the lake.
