Not easy!!!

Digital group again today.  We had another go with Last week's tutorial.

I used some old postcards - one of a mountain scene: the Niederelbe in Austria,  postmarked: 17.07.1972.  My cousin Claude writes to his Mother. "After 4 hours of climbing we are finally sitting in the refuge in front of a bowl of soup.  The weather is still bad.  A lot of fog.  Mille baisers (literally a thousand kisses) Claude"  (I translated the French into English)  The postmark at the top is from this card.

The second card is much older dated 26 May 1946, Mother's day! Sent  to our cousin Mary from other cousins: Nicole, Jacqueline and Nono  It is a drawing done by Gougeon.  Not sure about the initial. ( it's by one of the boy's boots)  found him on line: Louis Gougeon.

The text at the bottom of the drawing says: "Ce n'est pas étonnant que tu grimpes si bien, tu as été nourrie au lait de chèvre!!!"
(It's not surprising that you climb so well, you were fed goat's milk!!!  (understood - as a baby))

Textures added to blend them together.
