Golden find

It has been very breezy throughout the day although the sun shone for much of the time too. The wind has stirred up the tree pollen which has triggered my hay fever, the worst of it being really itchy eyes.

In the afternoon Bertie and I had a lovely wander along the stream where I was delighted to come across this large clump of Marsh Marigold, surrounded by Water Avens, one of my favourite wild flowers, with their pretty, nodding, bell-shaped heads..
