Gorgeous day. Nice to see nature creeping, flitting and growing back.


Today I made bread, planted potatoes, sowed carrots, pottered, and got very dirty and a bit sun burnt.

I've actually wanted to get up and get on with the day recently - it's a new experience for me.

After all the effort I've put in recently, Tess looked over the fence today and said, "I wish we lived in next door's house."
