Goldfinch

This male and his pal are devouring sunflower seeds at a great rate ..... no rationing for them!  Fortunately the sparrows are happy enough with the fat balls and the pigeons will devour anything that drops on the ground. The Goldfinches are the messiest eaters and the pigeons know it.

A dry morning, a rather dull, damp afternoon and now at just after seven o'clock the sun is shining and we can enjoy a lovely evening.
