Sunset on a Wild Day

A really wet morning so we drove to Lochbuie for lunch at the Old Post Office . A real feeling of camaraderie amongst the customers in the face of the persistent rain .
We returned to the car to enjoy the view and have a snooze . It was a good opportunity to listen to the end of the audio book of Susan Hill’s latest Simon Serrailler novel .
We knew the rain would lift at about 4:0 pm and it did ! So we set off on the bikes, the same route as the other day . The light was beautiful and we saw some roe deer who live in that area of the island . There was also a golden eagle wheeling overhead. Sadly the otter didn’t appear but there was a seal popping it’s head up .
Back home for a late supper and this beautiful sunset .
