Apple Meringue Pie

Today was the earliest I could manage since our return from Portugal to catch up with my good mates Derek and Rita. I made my way to their place for lunch and had a rare old time.

1. Admired Derek's latest home-made addition to his guitar collection.
2. Great chat as usual before, during and after our meal.
3. Derek's dessert contribution (gorgeous Apple Meringue Pie) was a highlight.
4. Bored them rotten with an exhaustive report about our trip to Portugal.
