Most northerly thermal swimming pool in Iceland

The weather turned today. Instead of blue skies, we had fog and rain. Of course, the fog prevented us from doing any landscape photography. We did get as far as this swimming pool. I have my swimming costume but the others were'nt keen.

We turned around and made our way to a fishing hamlet where we met Hilmar who was cutting up cod to smoke. He invited us in for coffee, and Famous Grouse, which I had to sleep off once we got back to Djupavik.

At 5 pm, I ventured out to take shots of the surroundings and was passing the abandoned herring factory when I heard a door open. Paul let Jean out and me in.
