A Day Worth Recording

Berrington

We attended a 'green' tourism event put on by Visit Worcestershire at the West Midlands safari park

I probably shouldn't have been surprised but it was about as un-green as these things get. Distant, short, and pretty much content free.  Oh, and in an office to one side of said safari park.

Anyway, we mitigated the damage by also visiting Berrington Hall - the only National Trust place in the area that we'd not been to since moving here 8 years ago (partly because of the distance).

Very much 'Capability Brown' however small your garden keep 200 sheep on the lawn in style.  The walled garden was interesting and the house more so than we expected, in part due to the informative volunteer guides.
