(Yellow Rattle) Hawkbit!

And buttercups, grasses and cow parsley seen on this morning’s walk around Caring. Very pretty. Lots more to come and in previous years has been spectacular.

It was our first visit to the allotment since we came home nearly two weeks ago now. We found a sea of mares tails, as expected. Careful culling exposed beetroot, parsnip and carrot seedlings and rows of spuds. More clearing exposed red onions and shallots. Those areas are looking good. Plenty more to do but it’s better than I dared hoped.
