Sunday Tootsie Trimming....

A busy day today.
Roy arrived in at half past nine this morning to trim cows feet. By 6 pm tonight we had done 49 cows and 8 bulls, most of them reluctant to go up the race into the crate as most of them had been trimmed before. Says a lot about being more selective when buying bulling heifers !
The only casualty was a wrecked shed door when a home bred Angus X cow decided to have a go at jumping over it. So had to take it off with a tractor and loader, swap another door off another shed to replace it then fill the gap in that shed with gates as a temporary fix.
There are now 7 bulls out in the field having a rammy to see who is boss . Hopefully they will stay in the field and not come through the fence,as I don't fancy a midnight rodeo !
