Delivery

So it’s been almost six months since the sprinkler pipe froze at Shelly’s building dropping gallons of water in 103, more in 102 and thankfully less in 101, Shelly’s unit. That happened January 1st. It took months just to figure out what needed replacing and to get the insurance company agreement. Then they did the demo and time stood still. We had a company but they couldn’t find sheet rock installers. Then we heard Three weeks, then another couple of weeks. Today was mentioned but not confirmed. So at 8:00 am when the guys came to deliver the sheet rock and prepare the area where it will go, Shelly and I were still in bed. We had checked and been told, no, they weren’t coming. So we got up and dressed and out in record time. Shelly is now settled at my place until the job is done. We aren’t sure they are starting the sheet rock tomorrow, but we’ve got it covered if they do. We also had a phone session getting ready for Shelly’s surgery on June 1st. It’s like the tar we were walking in suddenly let loose and now we are sliding.
