My Friend The SBC

This tiny speckled bush cricket nymph lives on a buttercup in our field. The plant is next to an old upturned tank that I use as seat. I've photographed this insect nearly every day since it first appeared. Today it went walkabout on an empty plastic forty gallon drum.

I've added an image of a small magpie moth to extras. I love it that I'm always able to find these by the shed where I keep my old blue S2000. Today it was quite cool and wet so the insect didn't fly when I turned the leaf it was on up so that I could photograph it.
