Peony

This is one of my very favorite peonies. It's called 'Lemon Dream' and it's an Itoh Peony. If you're interested, you can read more about this cultivar and what an Itoh Peony is here. It's a huge blossom - 8" across. This is the first blossom that's fully opened. I'll try to get a good image of the plant.

Busy day - a pretty lousy game of golf, lots of botanical garden work....and a presentation! I'm ready for dinner!
