Darling buds of May

Hardly weather to cast a clout today, although the hawthorn bushes by Avielochan were fragrant with the delicate blossom - sometimes referred to as 'may' or as 'bread and cheese'.

An added bonus between the squally downpours was the sight of a single Slavonian grebe on the Loch which is pictured in the extra.
