Result!

See yesterday for the before photo. I feel I can safely blame dodgy flour for the previous flops now. Very pleased with this. It tastes good too.

I didn't go anywhere today. But I got stuff done.  Baked the bread, emptied and cleaned kitchen bins, did two loads of washing, made some crackers with the surplus starter, pitted a kilo of cherries and made compote. And then cleaned the kitchen -- it needed it!  Meanwhile S finished the rewrite of his book for the Catalan translation, so we are both feeling satisfied.
