A bit of self admiration!

Although the water up at the far end of the loch looks calm as a millpond it was really very windy and at the car park end where there is not so much shelter the water was very choppy.

At this time of year there is quite a covering of weed gathering at the edges of the water …… fine for the water birds but not quite so good for the youngsters enjoying the water sports.

The four cygnets are growing fast but have not reached full speed yet as they try to keep up with mum and dad.
