A Fine Mist

A deadly quiet shrouded the lake engulfed as it was by a fine misty rain that obscured the detritus that normally occupies the view.

Although the camera captures some of the hidden detail, I elected to leave it obfuscated. I found it difficult to edit the file because there was so much dynamic range to play with and the reeds easily became too dark.

I liked this minimalist shot and played around with a few others, but without any shapes in the middle distance I found it hard to make compositions.
