Another 20km or so - almost entirely by veerboot. The wind is not giving over; if anything it’s strengthening, so we could have whistled onward but we’re not as young as we were and Stavoren is a diverting enough little town to stop off in. Though not as much as previously when Max’s Cafe was still open. It’s gone the way of so many bars and is now some restaurant/bistro place. The clouds thickened, the rain started. We hit the sacks early.
