27 May 2022 - Just Hovering Around

I didn't think I would get a macro shot today, it's been so windy but spotted this hover fly and managed to get a few shots off.  It amazed me how it managed to stay attached in a howling gale on those very slender legs!

A bottle of wine is chilling, some tortilla chips and other goodies for this evening's Stranger Things marathon with Le Daughter!
