Garden Postcard

A late spring collection from M&W's garden: Solomon's Seal, a raggedy-style tulip, and an unfurling arum lily. The garden is so colourful and beautiful everywhere you look, but I've chosen the subtler colours for today. 

Thank you so much for all the lovely star-spangled comments and hearts for my yesterblip that, in many ways, should have been saved for Flower Friday. But I do try to post photos taken on the right day if at all possible. And there is certainly no shortage of flowers to blip right now.

Today was M & W's wedding anniversary. I baked us all a moussaka for a late lunch with white wine to celebrate. It's been a beautiful sunny day, with a cloudless blue sky, but a rather chilly wind. Still lovely to be outdoors.
