Lowry's view

Well, not quite. Into Berwick this morning to meet Rena and Frank for a walk around the walls. This is the view looking down Marygate to the town hall, taken from the pedestrian bridge. Lowry's stick people have been replaced by cars, but the market place still looks remarkably similar.

We had intended to pause for coffee and cake on the way round, but somehow it turned in lunch as well at a little café by the Tweed estuary. By some miracle, it was sunny and warm enough to sit outside. Very pleasant it was too!

Popped in to the Green Shop for a couple of essentials before leaving Berwick. MrM drove us a very long way round, and it was mid-afternoon before we got home. Just time to tackle a couple of household chores before yoga.
