The handoff ...

... from papa Robin.

We are so blessed to have a nice variety of birds that visit and nest in our yard ... or nearby.  I believe this American robin has his nest ... or mama does ... in one of our neighbor's tree.  I don't think they appreciate the birds as much as we do though.

I was outside photographing the chipmunks and squirrels when I saw papa robin feeding one of his fledges in our platform feeder.  We keep a dish of grape jelly there that a lot of birds enjoy.  

Happy birthday to my oldest sister ... who turns 65 today!  Love you, B!
