Wasserburg Schloß-Nauses

In the hamlet Schloß-Nauses you can see this water castle. It was built in the 15th century. At the right hand side is the manor house, the tower is the gate tower. The other buildings are from the 19th and 20th century.
The entry in Wikipedia will give you more background information, but is in German only. Your browser might offer translation.
A bit north of Schloß-Nauses is the (tiny) village Ober-Nauses. And east of both, behind a hill, is hamlet called Frau-Nauses (yes, Frau as in Ms). Frau in this case is short for Frauenkloster, the hamlet belonged to the nunnery in Hoechst.
Anyway, all three very rural and perfect for walking/hiking, as well as bike-riding (I did that today) or even horse-riding.
