‘Habemus Cygni’

We have cygnets - five of them! 
The eagerly awaited event, referred to in yesterday’s blip, took place overnight!

This morning, they were already in the water busily feeding (and being fed) by their proud parents.

It’s the same number as last year, hatched exactly three weeks earlier, though sadly, only three survived.

Let’s hope they have better luck this time!
