07:15 cast off from Stornoway. Bacon butty, bouncy sea, 38 schoolchildren

10:00 arrive at Ullapool, wave to friends about to get on ferry

12:10 fab lunch in Aviemore (Kiwi corn fritters)

16:30 Quick stop in Edimbra

21:30 home.
