The Church of St Michael Baddesley Clinton

This Church is near to the National Trust property of Baddesley Clinton. Stories are told of the bad tempered Lord of the Manor Nicholas Brome who is buried head upwards in the doorway of the church so that everyone entering treads on his head. Perhaps killing the minister of the church was not such a good idea, though it seems he was pardoned by King and Pope. Now what was that minister doing to bring on this fit of rage? Well that's another story!
