Old Haunts

Another good night’s sleep.
Quick walk and ready for the wasp removal, which took all of ten minutes.
Rebecca was dropping Kitty off at one of her friends who lives in my village and then as arranged came with the older two girls to collect me to go for a walk with them.
Ruby drove us to Bolton Abbey, only been having lessons for a couple of months,  she is a natural driver.
We did the circular walk to Bardon Bridge , Mr P’s favourite run of all time.
The first time l have been back in over two years.
When we set off it really did feel like winter and l think l chose the wrong coat as there was a smattering of rain. But the weather was like four seasons in one day and there were two times l needed to tie my coat round my waist.
Ronnie needed to be on the lead for 90% of the walk but there were one or two little stretches where he could run free.
Girls not as eager to be photographed these days so l don’t push them but l did get a few shots, see extras.
We stopped at the Cavendish for refreshments and l broke my rule and had a third coffee of the day and enjoyed a slice of lemon drizzle.
Did the last stretch past the Priory and Ronnie had a quick cool down.
Got my feet up now, having done near 25,000 steps today but Rebecca and the rest of her family are off to a friends evening reception as she got married today.
They will all be dancing in a marquee, hope it has some heating!
