A & I walked our usual there & back route at Eccup where we passed lots of young cattle newly introduced to the fields, I guess for fattening up purposes. I liked how this fella was eating a beet. The hawthorn hedges were in full leaf having recovered from their brutal winter cut, home to yellowhammers and chaffinches.
