Memorial Day 2022

Today we remember those who gave the ultimate sacrifice.
It was a beautiful summer day. I started off with a walk to the pond and there was a turtle sunbathing again along with frogs jumping in the water when they heard my footsteps. After a couple of chores, we headed down to the beach. We weren’t the only ones.  Luckily we found a parking spot. Plenty of boats out too, along with jet skis and paddle boards. The harbor master was also on patrol. Very strange that the boat would come so close to the swimming section (see extra). The buoy in front of the boat is where the life guards want swimmers to stay behind. They did this about 3 or 4 time, stop and leave and come back. Not sure what they were looking for.
Afterwards we went to my sisters for dinner.
