That rider being my daughter in her element. Anyone who has regularly tried to get shots like this will know how hit and miss they are. I took nearly 100 photos in the 30 minute session and this is one of about three or four that turned out OK. As well as the timing, the indoor school also challenges the equipment (Non geeks stop reading now). This is at ISO1250 with a 50mm prime lens used wide open and over exposing by 1.3 stops. I was holding the camera at arms length over the barrier, composing with live view, then switching off live view to shoot.
