Colour bands in the sky

Today the walking group met and we trekked 12km from beautiful Centennial Park to Coogee Beach, on around the coast, then to Rose Bay, lunch and ferry back to Circular Quay. No rain was forecast but the park was sodden. I was glad of the waterproof boots. Not everyone wore them. Towards the end of the walk the cold wind came up so strong it drained my remaining energy. Train home and into bed with Smokey for a while, to equilibrate and get warm.

After that I looked up saw an unusual sky, glowing different colours. Not all the rainbow colours but most of the best ones were there. I opened the window and took this photo, the only one for the day.
