Heading home

Thiks was one I snapped while driving home - but it was not a long way from Burford. It was a place called Northleach which is extremely pretty with lots of old buildings but how lovely it is does not show in the photo. We wouldn't have gone through this village but for a road closure. We had a diversion almost right at the start of our journey (due to an accident on the A road we needed from Burford) and both the car satnav and my phone failed miserably as they kept sending us in circles! In the end we guessed where to go and came out at the right place but it was a very long way around to it.
We had a lovely week in the Cotswolds and our most favourite place for prettiness was Lower Slaughter. Absolutely wonderful village; so peaceful and I am sure if you lived there you'd live years longer than if you lived up in the northwest.
