Milfield Airfield

Fabulous views of the some of the Cheviots across Milfield Airfield this evening, when MrM and I were on the way to Etal to the music session at the pub. I rarely go when MrM is playing, but he's suffering from tennis elbow or something similar at present, so playing fiddle isn't an option. We enjoyed a couple of drinks in the bar, chatting to the musicians when they left the session for a break.

Apparently Milfield Airfield was an important RAF training station during World War 2; it's now the home of the Borders Gliding Club.

How did 1st June arrive so quickly? Already MrM keeps mentioning that "In less than 3 weeks the nights will start drawing in...".
