The Pilgrim

Looking back over my past blips I realise that I've never presented photographs of roses. Many years ago I had an after-school and weekend job working in a famous specialist rose nursery and they became one of my favourite garden flowers. My current garden isn't really suitable for roses as much of it is rather shady but I have a few shrub roses and several climbers. The Pilgrim is my favourite climber - it is covered in these fantastic soft yellow double flowers.
