Forty-five Years Ago Today

Strangely (and truthfully) I found this piece of The Daily Mirror (front and back sheet only) last night whilst tidying a drawer! I was amazed to see it was dated the 3 June 1977!! Whilst not pretending to be an ardent Royalist, I do respect our Queen.
Inside were adverts for C and A, Tabac after shave, British Airways Concorde and Kodak Kodacolor II film. There was also one for a 3 record souvenir set by Max Bygraves.
The Daily Mirror claimed to have 12 million readers! How times have changed.
