London Pride

Went to Keep Fit in the morning, and then walked down to the centre to meet up with Maeve for lunch.  Lots of chat as you would imagine after our last few days, and Maeve was eager for all the news of the wedding and of Helen's visit.  Didn't manage to fit in a meeting with Maeve and Helen, it was just too busy, but next time.....when I got home I discovered the newly weds had dropped round with some wedding cake, and as we were both out they left it on our table on the deck.  They are today off on honeymoon to Portavadie.  The cake tastes wonderful.

After lunch I walked home, and sat and watched the recording of the Trooping of the Colour, which was fantastic.  I think our military personnel are fantastic marchers, and how they manage to march and play their instruments with such precision is just amazing.  And always very impressed with the Princess Royal ..... anything the men can do she can!!!!

Our bed of London Pride is flowering at the moment and I thought it was appropriate for the Queen's 70th Jubilee.
