No work possible today

Showers most of the day meant no work on the roof. Maybe next week. Although the roofer and his men are being hit by sickness, and that could prevent any work.

Visited today by S' nephew and his partner across from Melbourne for a week of tourism. Lovely lunch supplied by S. Daughter J joined us, but unfortunately the others of our family here in Auckland are being laid low by the winter flu.

The showery weather also deterred me from having a jog. My photo shows the effect of the rain on the scaffolding outside my study window.
