Day 1 of Jubilee Celebrations

We held our usual Thursday morning service but our organist joined us so we were able to sing a hymn and the National Anthem alongside the prayers of thanksgiving for Her Majesty the Queen. 

The bunting you can see on the church has been made by a small group of crafters, who started to craft together on Zoom through lockdown and now meet every couple of months. A few people have commented on the colours and we've had to explain they are the Platinum Jubilee colours! 

Our bells will be ringing tomorrow morning, along with church bells throughout the country, prior to the service at St Paul's Cathedral.
