White ermine

Once again our day got off to a slow start.  A couple of emails, but mainly we got caught up in browsing Daft.ie to see if there were any houses we fancied, and at what price.

We did get out of the apartment by about 11.00, and decided to do the Three Lochs Forest Drive.  We really enjoyed this, pootling along at just 10mph, (which was the speed limit) pulling off to the side whenever a faster car approached from behind.

We stopped a couple of times to take a walk.

When we emerged back onto the public roads, it was past lunch time, so we drove down to Loch Katrine, where we found a cafe, and enjoyed sitting outside watching the boat set off for what was, we presumed, the last trip up the loch of the day.  We were mildly tempted to hurry our very late lunch and join it, but we were also aware that we needed to charge to a good level, to be ready for our move to Mull tomorrow, and that could take (allowing for the need to queue for the charger) a couple of hours.  So we let it go without us (1st extra).

On the way back to Dunblane Claudia (our Sat Nav, so called because she was the wife if Emperor Nero) clearly heard me complain that we had driven down the same road several times in our short stay in Dunblane, and took us off down some minor roads for a change.  We then called in on David Stirling, the memorial for the SAS, (2nd extra).  As we were returning to our car, W spotted this lovely moth.  Not rare, but beautiful all the same.
