Upcycling

Really quite chuffed (and exhausted) with today’s long gardening session - I made this veg box from two pallets, a load of cable ties, metal clips and a discarded/dismantled puppy cage, to deter the damn pigeons from destroying my plants. The cover isn’t ideal but I’m DIY illiterate so it’s the best I can do for now. I’ve planted it up with beetroot and celeriac seedlings, with alyssum in the front ‘pockets’ to attract insects. I need to find some more chives for the final pocket bottom right. Phew!
